James Blunt’s first concert in Lebanon took place on the 29^th of February 2009, and was sold out. James Blunt returned to Beirut in 2011 for a concert at BIEL. All the profits went to the charity organization Tamanna whose mission is to grant the wishes of children between 3 and 18, suffering from critical illnesses. A young girl, whose dream was to meet James Blunt had the chance to go on stage with him and said it was the most beautiful moment of her life.

James Blunt is a well-known English singer-songwriter.

His debut album, Back to Bedlam and single releases, including "You're Beautiful" and "Goodbye My Lover", brought him to fame in 2005 with 11 million copies sold.His repertoire is a mix of acoustic-tinged pop, rock and folk.

James Blunt won two BRIT Awards, two Ivor Novello Awards, and by 2006 was nominated for five Grammy Awards. The following year, he released his second album All The Lost Souls.
